BBQ fever

Meat lovers do know what BBQ is. All around the world each and every person does love to eat BBQ. There are BBQ stalls too, which we are able to grab. I do love having BBQ parties during the evening, that’s my personal preference. For dinner, lunch, party time no matter what the occasion or what the time is. We love to eat BBQ. Did you know there are many ways in which we could join BBQ with various foodies? Let’s see how to make many many yummy yummy recipes with BBQ. Come on, let’s have a BBQ season with our number of recipes. Follow my recipes accurately so that you never miss any tip which I’m using to perfect my dishes. So let’s see what we are going to make today.

(1) Slow-Cooker BBQ Ribs with Hoisin Glaze

Slow-Cooker BBQ Ribs with Hoisin Glaze


For 3 servings

  • 1 rack spare ribs
  • Spring onion, to garnish
  • Red chili, to garnish
  • Rice, to serve


  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon pepper
  • one tablespoon Chinese 5 spice


  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup chicken broth(200 mL)


  • Leftover slow cooker juice
  • 2 teaspoons corn flour
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • ¼ cup water (50 mL)
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds


  1. Season the ribs with salt, pepper and 5 spices.
  2. Place in the slow cooker then add garlic, ginger, onion, hoisin sauce and chicken broth. Stir with your hands to combine.
  3. Cook for 3 hours maximum or 6 hours minimum.
  4. Preheat the oven to 170 ° C.
  5. Once the ribs are cooked, remove them carefully and arrange them on a tin lined with aluminum foil.
  6. To make barbecue sauce, remove any remaining cooking juices from the slow cooker and pour into a skillet over medium heat.
  7. Mix the water and cornmeal in a small bowl and incorporate into the cooking sauce. Add the remaining ingredients for the barbecue sauce and reduce until you have a sticky barbecue sauce.
  8. Spread the ribs on both sides and bake for 15 minutes.
  9. Chop the ribs and garnish with spring onions and red pepper.
  10. Serve with rice.

(2) One-Pan BBQ Baby Back Ribs

One-Pan BBQ Baby Back Ribs


For 4 servings

  • 1 rack baby back ribs, halved
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • ¼ cup brown sugar (55 g)
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (290 g)
  • 1 lb. green beans (455 g)


  1. Preheat the oven to 140 ° C.
  2. Season the ribs with salt, black pepper, paprika, cayenne pepper, oregano and brown sugar. Rub the spices evenly on both sides.
  3. Place the ribs on a foil-lined can. Cover the ribs with aluminum foil.
  4. Let it cook for 2 hours.
  5. Increase the oven temperature to 260 ° C.
  6. Explore the ribs carefully. Spread the barbecue sauce evenly over the ribs.
  7. Place the green beans on the sides of the pan. Season the green beans with salt.
  8. Let cook for 10 minutes.
  9. Transfer the ribs to a cutting board.
  10. Cut between the bones to separate them into individual ribs. Serve with the green beans.

(3) BBQ-Chicken Monkey Bread Ring

For 8 servings

  • 28 oz pizza dough (800 g), 2 14 ounce packages
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (300 g)
  • 1 cup red onion (150 g), chopped
  • 2 cups chicken (250 g), shredded and cooked
  • 1 ¼ cups BBQ sauce (360 g), divided
  • Nonstick cooking spray
  • Fresh cilantro, finely chopped, for serving


  1. Cut the pizza dough tubes in half lengthwise, then cut them into 5 cm pieces and roll them into balls.
  2. Place the pizza dough balls in a large bowl, then add the olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Throw carefully with your hands to cover.
  3. Add the mozzarella and onion and toss them gently with your hands until they are evenly distributed.
  4. Preheat the oven to 190 ° C.
  5. In a medium bowl, mix the chicken and ¼ cup (65 g) of barbecue sauce. Put the balls of dough in the bowl and mix gently with your hands.
  6. Fill the bottom of a 22 cm cake pan with balls of dough, being careful not to wrap them too tightly. Spray the outside of a small baking bowl with non-stick spray and place it on top of the dough balls in the center of the pan. Fill the area around the bowl with the remaining dough balls.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes or until the tips of the dough balls turn a light brown color.
  8. Remove from the oven. Use tongs to remove the small bowl and cook for another 10 minutes or until the top of the dough balls are golden and bubbly.
  9. Fill the bowl with the remaining cup of barbecue sauce and sprinkle with cilantro.

(4) Honey BBQ Chicken Wings

For 20 wings

  • 1 cup flour (125 g)
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 20 chicken wings, or drumettes
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
  • ½ cup honey (170 g)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • one cup BBQ sauce (290 g)


  1. Preheat the oven to 220 ° C.
  2. Mix the flour, chili powder, salt, pepper, paprika and garlic powder in a bowl. Sprinkle the wings evenly in the flour and shake off the excess.
  3. Place the floured wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and distribute them in a layer.
  4. Let cook for 45 minutes, turning halfway through cooking, until the skin is crispy and golden.
  5. Preheat the oven to 250 ° C.
  6. Mix the barbecue sauce and honey in a separate bowl. Stir the cooked wings into the sauce and brush them evenly.
  7. Place the covered wings back on the pan and spread them in a layer.
  8. Cook for 8-10 minutes until the sauce is bubbly and caramelized. Let cool then serve.
